Jamera's journey to becoming a funeral director and owning Legacy Funeral Home and Cremation Services began with a dream in her youth. After graduating from Laurel High School in 2007, she pursued her passion by studying Mortuary Science and Funeral Service, graduating with honors in 2021. During her education, she gained experience at Chapel of Angel’s Funeral Home and Unity Funeral Home before obtaining her license from the Mississippi State Board of Funeral Service.
Driven by her calling, Jamera continued her education, earning degrees from The University of Southern Mississippi and William Carey University. With nearly 17 years of industry experience, she fulfilled her dream by opening Legacy Funeral Home and Cremation Services on May 23, 2024. Jamera's goal is to provide compassionate, dignified, and professional services to every family, leaving a lasting legacy of support and honor in the community.
